Mark Engle, PhD

Research Geologist

U.S. Geological Survey

Dr. Engle is a research geologist for the U.S. Geological Survey's Eastern Energy Resource Science Center and serves as the chief of the USGS Energy Resources Program's produced waters project.  He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in hydrogeology from the University of Nevada, Reno and a B.S. with emphasis in geology and chemistry from The Evergreen State College.  Mark has been studying produced waters from the Appalachian, Permian, and Gulf Coast Basins for more than a decade
